Spring Cleaning in the Bathroom

So your bathroom's spring cleaning involves cleaning the toilet, shower,
and floor — but you're not done yet! While the surfaces might
be clean you should still take the time to throw away old, empty, and
worn out items. Roll up your sleeves and prepare to liquidate your bathroom
of its old rubbish!

Bad Medicine

Remember that time you were sick and had to take antibiotics for a few
weeks; check your cabinets for the leftovers. Most people tend to keep
this type of medication in their bathroom medicine cabinet and then forget
about it. Comb through it real quick and throw out anything you aren't
currently taking. Chances are there's probably a prescription or two
lying around.

Bed of Razors

Whether you buy packs of disposable razors or just the cartridges, sometimes
old ones will pile up. If you've moved onto the next fresh razor then
there is clearly no need for the older ones. Throw out any used razors
because chances are that they've rusted over by now.

Who Says You Can't Have Two

Unless each bottle of shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, or facial cleanser
in your bathroom are used for specific reasons, there's no need to
have multiple bottles. Keeping duplicate items wastes more space than
you think. Throw away anything you don't use or combine them if you can!

You Give Bathrooms a Bad Name

Bathrooms are meant to store items that have to do with showering, grooming,
etc. This is not the place to keep food, tools, or your extra pair of
sneakers. More often than not, you'll leave these items in here and
then spend the better part of your day looking for them. Take them out
of the bathroom and find them a proper home.

Would you look at that; a clean and spacious bathroom! Well, at least for
the next few weeks or so. Once your cleaning has been completed, check
your plumbing and fixtures to see if they need to be serviced or repaired.
